Blackhawks fans can attend the free fan festival before the Winter Classic

The NHL Winter Classic will take place on December 31, 2024 at Wrigley Field between the Chicago Blackhawks and the St. Louis Blues.

The home of the Chicago Cubs has hosted an NHL Winter Classic before (2009) and is ready for the second round.

These days, the Blackhawks and Blues are no longer the powerhouses of the Western Conference, but both have marketable players that will make this Winter Classic a very entertaining game.

Before the game begins, fans can come to Wrigley Field early and take part in a free fan festival that includes activities, food, giveaways and the opportunity to see the Stanley Cup.

This will take place in a parking lot at 1126 W Grace Street. The event is open to the public and begins at 10:30 a.m. CT and runs until 3:30 p.m. CT. The game will then take place within the Friendly Confines at 4:00 p.m.

This is a great opportunity for fans to experience a full day of hockey experiences and a wonderful scene in a legendary location.
